This standard stipulates the maximum residue limits of 7107 items of 483 kinds of pesticides such as 2,4-D in food. This standard applies to foods related to limited quantities. Food category and measurement site (see Appendix A) are used to define the scope of application of maximum pesticide residue limits, which are only applicable to this standard. If the maximum residue limit of a certain pesticide is applied to a certain food category, all foods under this food category are applicable, unless there are special regulations. The list of pesticides that are exempted from the establishment of MRLs in food (Appendix B) is used to define the scope of pesticides that do not need to establish MRLs in food.
