Scope
This standard specifies the MRLs for 3,650 items of 387 pesticides such as 2,4-D in food. This standard applies to foods related to limited quantities. Food category and measurement site (see Appendix A) are used to define the scope of application of maximum pesticide residue limits, which are only applicable to this standard. If the maximum residue limit of a certain pesticide is applied to a certain food category, all foods under this food category are applicable, unless there are special provisions.
