Scope
This standard specifies the determination method of clenbuterol in food of animal origin. This standard applies to the determination of clenbuterol residues in fresh or frozen livestock, poultry meat, offal and their products. This standard also applies to the determination of clenbuterol in biological materials (human or animal blood, urine). The detection limit of this method: the first method of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry is 0.5 μg/kg; the second method of high performance liquid chromatography is 0.5 μg/kg; the third method of enzyme-linked immunoassay is 0.5 μg/kg. Linear range: the first method of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry is 0.025ng~2.5ng; the second method of high performance liquid chromatography is 0.5ng~4ng; the third method of enzyme-linked immunoassay is 0.004ng~0.054ng.
