Scope

This standard specifies the thin-layer chromatography and immunoassay methods (ELISA) for the determination of deoxynivalenol (DON, vomitoxin) in grains and their products (cakes, biscuits, bread, etc.). This standard applies to the determination of deoxynivalenol (DON, vomitoxin) in grains (millet, corn, barley, etc.) and their products (cakes, biscuits, bread, etc.). The detection limit of the first method of this standard is 0.1mg/kg, and the detection limit of the second method is 0.1ng/kg.
