Scope
This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, storage and accompanying documents of ionizing radiation thickness gauges. This standard applies to ionizing radiation thickness gauges (hereinafter referred to as thickness gauges) that use ionizing radiation to perform non-destructive static measurement of the thickness or mass per unit area of the measured material.
