This part of GB/T 17626 specifies the immunity requirements for equipment under operating conditions mainly to pulsed magnetic field disturbances in the following places: —Industrial facilities and power plants; —Medium-voltage and high-voltage substations. The applicability of this section is determined by the equipment installed in different locations, such as the phenomena described in Chapter 3. This section does not consider disturbances caused by capacitive and inductive coupling in cables or other parts of field installations. Conducted disturbances related to this are considered in other EMC standards. The purpose of this section is to develop a general and repeatable benchmark to evaluate the performance of household, commercial and industrial electrical and electronic equipment in a pulsed magnetic field. This section specifies the following items: - recommended test levels; - test equipment; - test configuration; - test procedures.
