Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for the design, materials, manufacturing, testing, calibration, inspection and supervis on and inspection of thermocouple thermometers important to the safety of nuclear power plants. This standard applies to thermocouple thermometers important for safety in nuclear power plants. Thermocouple thermometers in other nuclear facilities can be used as a reference. This standard does not involve the design, material selection, and structural requirements for installation sleeves, guide tubes, compensation cables and corresponding temperature transmitters or bridges related to thermocouple thermometers.
