Scope

This standard is the manufacturing tolerance of precious metal and base metal thermocouples manufactured according to the electromotive force-temperature relationship in Part 1 of the standard. The tolerance value is applicable to the thermocouples usually made of wire with a diameter of 0.25mm to 3mm delivered to the user, and shall not be used as the tolerance of the graduation drift value of the thermocouple in use.
