Warning: If proper measures are not followed, the products covered by this standard may be dangerous during production, storage, transportation and use. This standard does not intend to make recommendations on all safety issues related to this product. It is the user's responsibility to establish appropriate safety and precautionary measures and to determine the applicability of regulatory limitations before using this standard. This standard specifies the product varieties and marks, requirements and test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of turbine oil. This standard applies to base oils made of refined mineral oil or synthetic raw materials, added with various additives such as antioxidants, corrosion inhibitors and anti-wear agents, used in power station turbine lubrication and control systems, including steam turbines, water turbines, gas turbines and turbine oils used in gas-steam combined cycle turbines with common lubrication systems. Also suitable for turbine oils used in turbine drive systems for other industrial or marine applications. This standard does not apply to flame-resistant turbine oils and hydraulic turbine lubricating oils with special requirements.
