Scope
This standard specifies the calibration methods and procedures for liquid automatic particle counters, including: a) Perform primary particle size calibration for liquid automatic particle counters that can analyze bottled liquid samples, and measure counting performance and sensor resolution; b) Use primary-level particle size calibration; Calibrated liquid automatic particle counter verified suspension for secondary particle size calibration; c) determination of acceptable operating range and performance limits; d) verification of particle sensor performance using RM 8632; e) determination of coincidence error limits and flow limits.
