Scope
1.1 This standard is applicable to the determination of the water separability of petroleum and synthetic fluids. This standard applies to the determination of 40. C For oil products with a kinematic viscosity of 28.8 mm2/s to 90 mm2/s, the test temperature is 54. C soil 1 ℃. It can also be used for oil products whose kinematic viscosity exceeds 90 mm2/s at 40°C, but the test temperature is 82°C±l°C. For oils with higher viscosity, the oil and water cannot be fully mixed, it is recommended to use the GB/T 8022 test method. Other test temperatures such as 25°C can also be used. When the relative density of the tested synthetic fluid is higher than that of water, the test procedure remains unchanged, but it should be noted that water may float on the emulsified layer or synthetic fluid at this time. 1.2 This standard deals with certain hazardous materials, operations and equipment, but does not intend to make recommendations on all safety issues related to this. Therefore, users should establish appropriate safety and protective measures and determine the applicable management system before using this standard.
