Scope
This standard specifies the product structure and classification, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of electromagnetic flowmeters (hereinafter referred to as flowmeters). This standard applies to electromagnetic flowmeters that measure conductive liquid flow in closed pipes. This standard does not apply to insertion electromagnetic flowmeters and electromagnetic flowmeters used for open channel flow measurement.
