Scope

This part of GB/T 7165 applies to equipment for simultaneous, delayed or sequential measurement of aerosol effluents emitted to the environment. Such equipment shall have the following functions: - measure the volume activity of the aerosol exhaust stream (Bq/m³) and/or the total emission activity of the aerosol (Bq); or a predetermined total aerosol emission activity, an alarm signal is activated. Such devices are used to measure activity over a wide range, including the presence of small amounts in large natural backgrounds. The daughters of Rn and Rn usually exist in natural background aerosols. An important issue in monitoring low-level activity is the identification of background activity. To provide additional and more accurate information, supplemental or subsequent laboratory analysis can be performed on the sampled filter. The purpose of this section is to specify specific standard requirements, including technical characteristics and general test conditions, and to give examples of possible methods for aerosol effluent monitors. GB/T 7165.1-2005 gives general requirements, technical characteristics, test methods, radiation characteristics, electrical characteristics, mechanical characteristics, safety characteristics and environmental characteristics. Unless otherwise stated, these requirements apply to this section.
