Scope
This document specifies inspection methods for coordinate measuring machines equipped with multiple probing systems for contact/non-contact measurement modes. This document is applicable to the following situations: ——The manufacturer proposes to carry out acceptance testing on the performance indicators of the coordinate measuring machine and its probe; ——The user proposes to conduct periodic inspections on the performance indicators of the coordinate measuring machine and its probe Re-inspection testing; ——The user proposes to check the performance indicators of the coordinate measuring machine and its probe between two re-inspection tests. This document covers single probing axis as well as multi-probing axis coordinate measuring machines with little or most overlap in the measurement space, applicable to multiple probing systems equipped with different types of probes (for example, a combination of vision probes and contact probes, or a combination of two contact probes for different purposes). The detection method described in this document is closely related to the various errors introduced by the coordinate measuring machine and the detection system, and is a supplement to the detection of the length measurement error of the coordinate measuring machine and the detection errors of each detection system. Before executing this document, it is advisable to detect the length measurement error of the coordinate measuring machine and detect the detection error of each detection system of the coordinate measuring machine according to the standard (such as ISO103605, ISO103607 or ISO103608).
