Scope

This part of GB/T 16857 specifies the method for testing software that is used for coordinate measurement and calculation of fitting elements. The relevant features are lines (2D and 3D), surfaces, circles (2D and 3D), spherical cylinders, cones, and torus. Each element included in the software is subject to one or more separate tests. Since it has nothing to do with the coordinate measurement system, the software should detect it independently.
