Scope
This document specifies the acceptance test specifications to verify the performance of the laser tracker specified by the manufacturer by measuring the reference detection length; it also specifies the re-inspection test specifications for the user to periodically re-verify the performance of the laser tracker. The acceptance test and re-inspection test specified in this document are applicable to laser trackers whose detection system is a reflective target or a combination of a reflective target and a probe/optical range sensor. The acceptance test and re-inspection test specified in this document are also applicable to: --- laser tracker measured by interferometer (IFM) and absolute range finder (ADM) alone or simultaneously; --- other balls using cooperative targets Correlation performance testing of coordinate measurement systems, such as lidar systems using cooperative targets. Note: For systems that do not track targets, such as lidar systems that do not use cooperative targets, the detection performance is not tested. This document does not expressly apply to measurement systems that do not use a spherical coordinate system, but relevant parties can negotiate to apply this document to such systems. This document stipulates: --- The performance requirements can be specified by the manufacturer or user of the laser tracker; --- The execution method of the acceptance test and re-inspection test used to prove the specified requirements; --- The compliance determination rules; --- - Application of acceptance testing and re-inspection testing.
