Scope
This part of GB/T 20818 gives the general structure that should be adopted for the catalog of process equipment classified by product characteristics for industrial process measurement and control equipment with analog or digital output, so that it is helpful when the product is handed over from one party to another Understand product descriptions. This section applies to product manufacturers to compile catalogs of process measurement equipment and to help users order. This section can also be used as a reference document for all subsequent standards related to the catalog of process measurement equipment. In addition, this part of ISO/IEC 20000 can be used as a guide for future development of standards related to the documentation of process equipment such as other kinds of measuring equipment and actuators.
