Scope: This standard stipulates the minimum technical requirements and the safety level of the typhoon-type wind turbine (hereinafter referred to as "the unit"), and describes and defines the typhoon model and various working conditions under the typhoon state. In addition, this standard also involves the mechanical system, electrical system, control and safety protection system, operation and maintenance of the unit. This standard applies to onshore grid-connected horizontal-axis wind turbines in typhoon-prone areas. Offshore horizontal axis wind turbines can be used as a reference.
