- Scope
- This standard specifies the design principles, design conditions, design requirements, material requirements, tower manufacturing, weld non-destructive testing, surface anti-corrosion treatment, accessories manufacturing and installation, completion data and accompanying documents, signs, packaging, etc. storage and transportation requirements. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of steel tubular towers for horizontal axis wind turbines with a swept area of wind turbines equal to or greater than 200m2. Other types of towers for wind turbines can be implemented as a reference.
