Scope: This part of GB/T 4797 specifies the basic characteristics, quantitative description and environmental condition classification of precipitation and wind environmental conditions related to electrical and electronic products. This section is applicable to provide background information for determining the severity level of precipitation and wind-related parameters that electrical and electronic products will be subjected to during transportation, storage and use. The values specified in GB/T 4796 should be used when selecting the appropriate severity of precipitation and wind-related parameters for product applications.
