Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for the manufacturing, inspection, marking, packaging, storage, transportation and acceptance of wind turbine cylindrical towers. This standard is applicable to steel cylindrical towers of onshore grid-connected wind turbines. Other types of cylindrical towers can be implemented by reference.
