This standard specifies the coating construction process, construction environment, technical requirements and testing methods for newly built product oil tankers and chemical tanker cargo tanks. This standard applies to the coating construction of cargo tanks of product oil tankers and chemical tankers carrying petroleum products, chemicals, animal and vegetable oils and edible products, the repair and renewal of cargo tanks of product oil tankers and chemical tankers, and other containers containing the above products. Painting construction can also be used as a reference.
