Scope
This part of GB/T 17215 specifies the terms, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging and storage of multi-function electric energy meters (hereinafter referred to as meters). This section applies to static multi-function watt-hour meters installed and used in power grids with a rated power of 50Hz (60Hz). This section is only applicable to the combination of multi-functional electric energy meters and their accessories that are installed indoors and used in meter boxes, and the static electric energy measuring mechanism, functional parts and meter (display) device are enclosed in one watch case, including the enclosed Current Transformer. The measurement performance of the meter should meet the national standard requirements of the corresponding grade index static electric energy meter. If a measuring institution measures multiple electrical parameters (such as current, voltage, frequency, apparent energy, power factor, phase, etc.) or is equipped with other functional components, it should also meet the national standards related to these electrical parameters and functional components.
