- This standard stipulates the basic requirements and preparation methods of industrial product instruction manuals (hereinafter referred to as instruction manuals). This standard is applicable to the preparation of instruction manuals for industrial products of non-consumer products. Note: The preparation of instructions for use of consumer products shall be carried out in accordance with GB 5296.1-1997 "General Rules for Instructions for Use of Consumer Products".
