Scope
This standard specifies the method for sample preparation and liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry determination of five α2-receptor agonists in animal foods. This standard applies to the determination of tizanidine, xylazine, brimonidine, apraclonidine and clonidine residues in porcine muscle, liver and kidney tissue and chicken muscle and liver tissue.
