Scope
This standard specifies the product classification and specifications, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of high-density polyethylene sheathing materials for bridge cables. This standard is applicable to bridge cables made of high-density polyethylene resin as the main raw material, adding modifiers, antioxidants, light stabilizers, carbon black or pigments and other additives, and then mixing, plasticizing and granulating them. High-density polyethylene sheathing material is mainly used for hot-extruded sheathing and spiral wires or casings of bridge cables. Hot-extruded sheaths and casings of other cable structures can also be used.
