Scope
This part of GB/T 16422 specifies the test method for the exposure of the sample in the test equipment equipped with fluorescent ultraviolet radiation, heat and water. This method is used to simulate the material exposed to sunlight or filtered by window glass in the actual use environment Natural aging effects that occur in sunlight. This part is applicable to the evaluation of weather resistance of plastics under the condition of exposure to fluorescent ultraviolet light source and the comparison test of weather resistance between plastics. Samples are exposed to fluorescent UV lamps under controlled conditions (temperature, humidity and/or water), and different types of fluorescent UV lamps are used to meet the test needs of different materials. Specimen preparation and result evaluation for specific materials refer to other national standards. The general rules are given in GB/T 16422.1.
