Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, specifications, uses, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of high-density polyethylene sheathing materials for bridge cables. This standard applies to bridge cable-stayed bridges made from high-density polyethylene resin as the main raw material, with modifiers, antioxidants, light stabilizers, carbon black or pigments and other additives added through mixing, plasticizing and granulating. Cables and boom cables are sheathed with high-density polyethylene plastic. The plastic cable sheath used for other cable structures can be used as a reference.
