This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of cold-coated zinc coatings. This standard applies to organic coatings with high zinc content applied at room temperature. This product is a one-component coating composed of zinc powder, organic resin, solvent, etc. It is mainly used for cathodic protection of exposed surfaces of steel substrates and repair of damaged zinc coatings. This standard does not apply to multi-component zinc-rich primers.
