- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, inspection items and test methods, inspection rules, marks and packaging and storage requirements, etc. This standard applies to generating sets consisting of reciprocating internal combustion engines (hereinafter referred to as engines) of 3 kW~4 500 kW, rated frequency 50 Hz, and fueled by natural gas and diesel/natural gas (hereinafter referred to as engines), alternators, control devices and auxiliary equipment. Generating sets fueled by other combustible gases or generating sets with a frequency of 60 Hz can be implemented by reference.
