- Scope
- This standard stipulates the type and size of signs, marks, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, packaging and storage. This standard applies to product nameplates, operation prompts, instructions, circuit diagrams, design data charts and safety signs for various electromechanical equipment, instruments, and components (collectively referred to as labels). The types and dimensions of this standard are not applicable to panels, dials, trademarks and art decoration plates of instruments and household appliances, but the technical requirements of this standard (see Chapter 5) can be used for reference by the above products.
