This part of GB/T 2820 specifies the basic characteristics of alternating current (ac) generators for generating sets under the control of their voltage regulators, and is a supplement to the relevant requirements of GB 755-2008. This standard applies to land and marine alternating current (ac) generators driven by reciprocating internal combustion (RIC) engines, but does not apply to alternating current (ac) generators for aviation driven land vehicles and locomotives.
