Scope

This part specifies the relevant requirements for the design, design verification, design validation, production and data control, performance evaluation, maintenance, operation and storage of screw pumps for artificial lift in the oil and gas industry. This part includes normative appendices, and puts forward requirements for the testing, design confirmation and performance evaluation of stator rubber materials. In addition, the informative appendix contains the following information: PCP Requirements Information Sheet, Installation Guide, Operating Guide, Selection and Testing of PCP Rubber, Repair and Inspection, Evaluation of Used PCP, Selection of PCP Drive Rod and Auxiliary equipment. This part applies to the design, manufacture, inspection, test, maintenance and storage of screw pumps for artificial lift.
