Scope

This standard specifies the system composition, basic functions, performance characteristics, in-vehicle system management, vehicle requirements, main integration technical requirements of on-vehicle systems, signs, packaging, General requirements for transport and storage. This standard applies to vehicle-mounted satellite communication earth stations operating in the Ku frequency band and using the fixed-satellite service in geostationary orbit.
