- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for the light distribution performance of front position lamps, rear position lamps, position marker lamps and brake lamps of automobiles and trailers. This standard is applicable to various types of front position lamps, rear position lamps, position marker lamps and brake lamps used in M, N and O category vehicles and trailers. In this standard, the above-mentioned various signal lamps are also referred to as devices.
