- Scope
- This part specifies the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements for earth stations (ES) and related auxiliary equipment operating in the frequency range of 4GHz~30GHz and providing fixed satellite service (FSS), including limits, performance criteria and measurement methods etc.; stipulates the test conditions, performance evaluation methods and performance criteria applicable to earth stations and related auxiliary equipment. This section applies to very small aperture terminals and interactive satellite earth station equipment (the operating frequency range is 4GHz~30GHz in the fixed satellite service). This section does not involve the spurious emission technical indicators of antenna ports and earth station chassis ports. These technical indicators can be found in relevant product standards developed for the effective use of radio spectrum.
