Scope: This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificate and purchase order (or contract) for germanium substrates for solar cells. This standard applies to germanium substrates for solar cells (hereinafter referred to as germanium substrates) prepared by vertical gradient solidification (VGF) and Czochralski method (CZ).
