Scope

This part of SY/T 6423 specifies the requirements for automatic ultrasonic detection of delamination defects, including: a) Full circumferential detection of seamless and welded steel pipe bodies (except straight seam SAW pipes). b) Adjacent areas of welded steel pipe welds. c) Full circumferential inspection of seamless and welded steel pipe ends. This section can also be applied to the inspection of circular hollow parts.
