Scope

This part of SY/T 6423 specifies the requirements for automatic ultrasonic detection of delamination defects in steel strips/plates for welded steel pipe manufacturing that are completed at the pipe factory before or during the production of the steel pipe. This section also applies to the testing of steel strips/plates used in the manufacture of circular hollow parts.
