Scope
This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging and storage of alkyd drying insulating paint. This standard applies to alkyd drying insulating paint made of alkyd resin as the main film-forming substance. It is mainly used for impregnation of motors and transformer windings; it can also be used as an adhesive for mica tape and soft mica plates.
