- This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, storage, etc. of alkyd drying insulating paint. This standard applies to alkyd drying insulating paint prepared from oil-modified alkyd resin, drier, xylene, and SH0005 paint solvent oil, and to alkyd drying insulating paint prepared from drying vegetable oil-modified alkyd resin and xylene. Alkyd drying insulating paint. Both types of insulating paint are Class B insulation materials.
