This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, storage, transportation and safety of industrial styrene. This standard applies to industrial styrene produced from ethylbenzene through dehydrogenation, rectification and other processes. The molecular formula of styrene is C8H8, and the relative molecular mass is 104.15 (according to the international relative atomic mass in 2007). This standard is not intended to explain the safety issues related to its use. It is the user's responsibility to take appropriate safety and health measures and ensure compliance with relevant national regulations.
