This part specifies the method for the determination of peroxide content in styrene for industrial use. This section is not intended to address all safety issues related to its use. It is the user's responsibility to establish appropriate safety and health measures to ensure compliance with the relevant national laws and regulations. CAUTION: Styrene is flammable and will undergo exothermic polymerization when in contact with peroxides, mineral acids, and aluminum chloride, among others. High concentrations of liquid styrene and its vapors are irritating to the eyes and respiratory system.
