Scope

This part of GB/T 228 specifies the principles, definitions, symbols and descriptions of tensile test methods for metallic materials, specimens and their dimensional measurements, test equipment, test requirements, performance tests, rounding off of measured results, and test reports. This section applies to the test of tensile properties of metallic materials at room temperature.
