GB/T 14048.12-2006 Low voltage switchgear and controlgear Part 4-3: Contactors and motor starters AC semiconductor controllers and contactors for non motor loads (English Version)
This part applies to AC semiconductor controllers and contactors for non-motor loads that operate AC circuits by changing their on and off states. See Table 2 for typical applications. As a controller, it should be able to reduce the amplitude of the effective value of the AC voltage at the load end continuously or within a specific time, but the AC half-wave time determined by the applied voltage should remain unchanged. Appliances in this Part may have a series of mechanical switching devices and be connected to a circuit of a rated voltage not exceeding 1000V a.c. Controllers and contactors within the scope of this part are generally not used to break short-circuit currents, therefore, controllers and contactors should be installed with appropriate short-circuit protective devices (see 8.2.5) as part of them, but can also be separated . This standard specifies the requirements for controllers and contactors with separate short-circuit protective devices. This Part does not apply to: ——Low-voltage AC semiconductor motor controllers and starters specified in GB 14048.6; ——Electronic AC converters specified in IEC 60146; ——With or without solid-state relays. The contactors and control circuit components used in controllers and contactors shall comply with their corresponding product standards, and the mechanical switching components used shall comply with their corresponding national standards and the additional regulations in this part. The purpose of this standard is to specify the following: a) Characteristics of semiconductor controllers and contactors and their corresponding devices. b) Conditions that semiconductor controllers and contactors should meet in the following aspects: ——operating performance; ——dielectric properties; ——protection level (when there is an enclosure); ——structural requirements. c) The tests used to verify that these conditions are met and the test methods used. d) Mark on the product or information provided by the manufacturer.
