- This standard specifies the basic requirements for the determination of combustible gas detection points in oil and gas projects, the selection, installation, inspection, maintenance and scrapping of detectors and indicating and alarm equipment. This standard applies to the design, installation and use of combustible gas detection alarms in newly built, expanded and renovated oil and gas projects.
