Scope
This code is applicable to the division of explosive hazardous areas and the design of electrical installations for new construction, expansion and reconstruction projects where explosive hazardous environments occur or may occur during production, processing, handling, transshipment or storage. This specification does not apply to the following environments: 1 Underground mines; 2 Environments where gunpowder, explosives and primers, fuzes and pyrotechnics are produced, etc.; Electroplating and other electrical equipment areas; 4 Environments using strong oxidants and substances that can ignite by themselves without external ignition sources; 5 Water, land, and air transportation vehicles and offshore and land oil well platforms; 6 Heating and air conditioning using flavored natural gas as fuel , cooking, laundry and similar plumbing systems; 7 medical rooms; 8 catastrophic accidents.
