Scope
This standard specifies the basic requirements that combustible gas detection and alarm systems in oil and gas projects should comply with. This standard applies to the combustible gas detection and alarm design, equipment selection, installation, and management of the above projects for newly built, expanded, and reconstructed onshore oil and gas field projects, oil and gas storage and transportation projects, and offshore oil and gas field onshore terminal projects.
