Scope

This part of GB/T 21714 proposes the following requirements: prevent physical damage to buildings by using lightning protective devices (LPS), and avoid life hazards caused by contact and step voltage near the LPS. This section applies to: a) LPS design, installation, inspection and maintenance of buildings of any height; b) Protection measures against personal hazards caused by contact and step voltage.
