Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for materials, design, manufacturing, test methods, inspection rules, signs, markings, factory documents, storage, and transportation of refrigerated liquefied gas tank containers (hereinafter referred to as tank containers). This standard applies to tanks with a design pressure of not less than 0.1MPa, a geometric volume of not less than 1m, a vacuum powder insulation or high vacuum multi-layer insulation structure, and a permanent connection between the tank and the frame. This standard does not apply to tanks in the following ranges: a) Tanks made of non-ferrous metals or non-metals; b) Filled with refrigerated liquefied gas media with a standard boiling point lower than -196°C; c) Filled with toxic media; d) National defense military equipment and other special requirements.
